How do we determine Truffle value ?

At Fosc & Root, truffle prices are set weekly according to supply and demand in Spain, which naturally varies with each truffle season. This approach ensures that our customers always receive a fair and transparent price that reflects the market reality at any given time.

To better adapt to the needs of our clients, we offer four pricing options, allowing flexibility whether you are a small distributor, a medium-sized business, or a fine dining establishment requiring larger volumes. In every case, our commitment remains the same: to provide fresh, authentic, and premium-quality truffles at the fairest value.

Our Pricing Philosophy

We work with these categories:

  • Extra Quality:
Truffles weighing over 20 grams, with a rounded and uniform shape. Carefully selected for their exceptional aroma, firmness, and appearance, they are ideal for gourmet restaurants and premium retail, where presentation is key.

  • First Category:
Also over 20 grams, but with irregular shapes. They maintain the same high aromatic quality and maturity as the Extra category, offering an excellent choice for chefs and distributors seeking top flavor at a more competitive price.

  • Second Category:
Truffles that weigh less than 20 grams or have been broken during harvesting or handling. Despite their different size or appearance, they retain the same authentic flavor and aroma as Extra truffles, offering distributors a flexible option for clients who value quality at a more accessible presentation.

  • Custom Mix:
A balanced selection of Extra and First category truffles, tailored to client needs. Ideal for restaurants and resellers looking for quality and flexibility in pricing without sacrificing authenticity.

Our goal is simple: to help you find the right truffle for your market whether you’re a small distributor or a large buyer. Tell us your needs, and we’ll create a personalized offer just for you.
